Bodybuilders are a special breed, it takes an exceptional mindset, discipline, persistence and consistency. It's not simply about the body itself, but also the mind. You need to be resilient and conditioned in your mind to endure the challenges and the discipline will shape your character. You will have to push yourself much harder than usual to succeed and when you step on that stage, it proves that all your sacrifices are actually worth something. It has brought the confidence out in me. I don't live my life under the radar and I'm delighted to see that I have impact on others. Bodybuilding consists of endless days of eating, training and sleeping hard. The human body detests being at a low body-fat level speaking in evolutionary terms and we fight those adaptive mechanisms. Any competitor that has placed her body under extreme physical, emotional and nutritional stress will eventually feel and know the effects. A contest-ready body is without a doubt impressive and takes tremendous effort, but the lack of balance and extremity required to achive that has consequences of their own. You deserve good health and good life. The more physically, psychologically & emotionally intense an activity becomes, the shorter it's sustainable duration and that's ok because this is a process!
